Pakistan - Charges In Bhutto Death Investigation

By Cernig

Pakistan has formally charged Tehrik e-Taliban leader Baitullah Mehsud and four other who also remain uncaptured with the assassination of PPP leader Benazir Bhutto.

But they haven't, apparently, formally charged two people who they have in actual custody and who supposedly confessed to their part in the crime.

Weird.

If I were a cynical sort, I'd say they'd deliberately charged the people least likely to ever stand up in court, with evidence and counter-evidence, while dropping a pair of possibly-tortured dupes down the memory hole.
