So, we got dumped from the Weblog Awards list of nominees for Best Liberal blog at the last minute - and now we're up for the nomination for "Best of the Top 1001 - 1750 Blogs". It's a tough field, to be honest - we're up against Obsidian Wings, Echidne and Slacktivist - all great liberal blogs - just for a start.

At the time of writing, Fighting Keyboarders member "Bookworm Room" is ahead and Newshoggers is way down the field.
