Bush's latest appointment fun: a nominee to head HHS's department of family planning who opposes contraception.
Okay, opposing abortion is one thing, but she opposes adults using condoms and the pill to time or limit pregnancies. Hey, I know, how about an insurance commissioner who thinks that God is busily trying to smite us and that using medicine is inherently sinful? Law enforcement personnel who think the only laws that matter are contained in the Bible? A President who doesn't believe that opinions contrary to his own matter in our democracy? Oh wait...
