Four days after raising its terror threat level to Critical, Britain has reduced it back to Severe. There were no further attacks, failed or otherwise, while the terror threat level was set to a level denoting that an attack "is expected imminently". The UK is now back to a level where "an attack is highly likely" - which in practical terms is where it pretty much has been for the last three or four decades.
I just thought I'd let you know, since those who breathlessly talk up every raise so very rarely notice any subsequent lowering.
