Bad News? Keep It Secret!

Paul Kiel over at TPM Muckraker is doing a sterling service attempting to catalogue all the times that the Bush administration has decided that you, the people, don't need to know about bad news.

Over the years, they've discontinued annual reports, classified normally public data, de-funded studies, quieted underlings, and generally done whatever was necessary to keep bad information under wraps.

Wouldn't it be great to have all those examples in one place?
