Liquid Bomb Plot Leader Was Victim Of Race Attack

I'm not saying it excuses anything - nothing excuses planning to take a whole bunch of innocents to their deaths with you - but just so you know that there is gray and nuance in this world no matter what the Militant Right's bigots have to say:
THE suspected British ringleader behind the liquid bombs plot was savagely beaten in a race-hate street attack months before the alleged terror atrocity was foiled.

Shamin Mohammed Uddin, 35 - the eldest of those arrested in Britain - was beaten up by a gang of thugs just yards from his home on Cazenove Road, Stoke Newington.

The brutal attack, believed to be racially motivated, left Uddin in hospital with severe facial injuries. The gang have never been caught.

But last night next door neighbour Akin Salusu said Uddin had turned to religion to get over the shock.

Mr Salusu said: "Shamin was very down after the incident. He became very close to his religion."
Because they hated his freedoms, you see...
