Of course they'll come up with rational — or rational-sounding — arguments and paint their opponents as irrational. Nobody ever admits they're taking the foolish position because they don't think it's foolish.Ezra Klein is the grown-up in this particular conversation. The rest refuse to realize their war-toys have no business being out of the box when it comes to Iran.
