Accusations against Gov. Eliot Spitzer of New York, after being caught on a wiretap arranging for a high-priced call-girl, are tearing up the blogosphere.
I'll repeat my own reaction in response to allegations that John McCain was having a relationship with a blonde lobbyist:
Sex is solely the business of the three people involved and the shop that sold them the equipment.
It should only become a matter for public concern if the individual has built his position of power upon a claim to the high ground in matters of sexual morality or where the sexual favors have been recriprocated by political or business ones.
