Just a quick note, as I'm swamped with real life things, but God, who knew that Hugo Chavez would countenance an actual free election on things that matter to him?
His loss, however narrow, does show that whatever other kind of little tyrant he may be, he is still bound to the will of the Venezuelan people. I did not expect that to be the outcome of this election, and I'm very heartened to see it.
