Sorry, his behavior is only annoying to politics geeks. If you aren't one and you're reading this, former Speaker of the House Dennis Hastert, who has hinted for months that he'll retire this year, retired effective 11:59pm last night and is no longer in office. Illinois will hold a special election on February 5 to fill the seat he vacates.
