An open challenge to the National Review

By Libby

AND to the all the major bloggers and the "citizen journalist" swarm that have been working so diligently to discredit the Frost and Wilkerson family. I am truly impressed by your ability to google up dirt to attack the messengers who support the additional funding for SCHIP. Your investigative skills are just awesome and far superior to mine. So here's the challenge.

I assume from your arguments, you're not against the program itself, just its coverage of undeserving families. So, if you could please just take a moment from judging the moral fitness of the recipients whom you feel don't deserve the help for "bad choices," perhaps you could find a family whom you think does deserve the assistance. And if that is beyond even your incredible investigative abilities, I'll make it even easier. Invent one. Just describe the sort of family you would consider to be deserving of help with health insurance coverage.

I feel confident in saying, I'm not the only one who would like to know.
