Instahoglets October 21st, 2007

This week Rep. Pete Stark (D-CA) spoke the truth when he said:
"President Bush's statements about children's health shouldn't be taken any more seriously than his lies about the War in Iraq. The truth is that that Bush just likes to blow things up – in Iraq, in the United States, and in Congress."
Chris Dodd upheld the Constitution and the law by refusing to provide the telcos (and by implication, the President)immunity from illegal wiretapping. Feingold, Waxman and Leahy continue to investigate obvious wrongdoing and corruption (though one has to wonder what will result, and when). And that seems to be about the extent of leadership and honesty in our government.
