House Dems surpass voting record

by shamanic

No link because the Post's blog interface is basically unusable, but yesterday one of its blogs reported that House Democrats had just held the 943rd vote of the year, surpassing the previous record for most votes held, which if memory serves, was in 1979.

They bested the 1995 GOP congress' record in mid-September. Just a note on your "do nothing congress", and further evidence that the GOP's blocking stance in the Senate has been overwhelmingly effective.
