Rummie Returns To Institution

By Cernig

Donald Rumsfield is to return to the conservative Hoover Institution think tank as a visiting fellow.
Rumsfeld will serve on a task force of scholars and experts who will focus on issues pertaining to ''ideology and terror,'' the think tank announced in a press release.

''I have asked Don to join the distinguished group of scholars that will pursue new insights on the direction of thinking that the United States might consider going forward,'' said John Raisian, Hoover director.
I can't think of a worse pick for such a task, unless maybe John Bolton.

Rummie was previously a member of the Board of Trustees at the Hoover Institution, whose alumni include Condi Rice, Newt Gingritch, Fred "The Surge" Kagan and John Podhoretz.
