This is a brighter spot in the morning news. Maybe he's just tired of being the butt of a running joke but on Colbert's show, Tom Friedman finally says Bush has run out the legendary six month units and that it's time to set a deadline.
It would have been more useful if he had this ephiphany three or four FUs ago, but still it's something and I'm willing to take progress whenever it comes. I'm not however, holding my breath that Friedman will become an outspoken ally for the reality based community, although it would be a refreshing change.
