A Vested Interest In War

By Cernig

Joining the dots.

Now that Bush has successfully privatized the military by handing so much of it to pcontractors, the military/industrail complex have far more of a vested interest in keeping the US involved in "hot" wars.

Now that Bush has successfully privatized the nation's intelligence apparatus, the military/industrial complex companies benefitting from his largesse have more of a vested interest in providing intelligence that keeps the US in "hot" wars.

Oh and the "black" budget handed to the Pentagon for keeping the US in "hot" wars is now 70% higher than it was in 2001.

From this point of view, there's nothing going wrong in Iraq and Iran is a business opportunity.
