This is an interesting rumor. Gonzales is allegedly about to resign and Michael Chertoff will be tapped to replace him. Somehow, I don't find this to be an improvement and it's difficult to believe after the years of DHS mismanagement under Chertoff's "leadership," that many others will either.
Which is not to say that Chertoff won't end up with the job. As we've seen time and time again in this administration, incompetency is usually rewarded.
