Testing the waters?

Marc Ambinder comes up with the staff list that includes the recent shakeups in Fred Thompson's "non" campaign. This is one hell of an exploratory committee. A lot of old guard from Bush 04 on this roster. I have to think those guys don't come cheap but we don't know since Fred so coyly avoids complying with financial accounting regulations by refusing to formally declare.

Just what we need. Another president willing to stretch the law into perverse contortions for his own personal ambition.
