Gotta give a shout out to McClatchy's alt.campaign segment. This link (video, be prepared) goes to Rives on Politics. Rives is a big time Slam poet who MC'd one of my bouts at last year's National Poetry Slam. Nice to see the poet people appear in the real world.
Incidentally, for any Newshoggers readers in the Austin, Texas, area, you've got the National Poetry Slam coming up from August 8-12. I'll be there, and I'd be surprised if Rives isn't. Tickets are supposed to go on sale next week, and you can find out more at http://nps2007.com/.
