Even now, even at this late date, I am still able to be astounded by the degree to which the President of the United States eagerly thumbs his nose at basic notions like the rule of law, the separation of powers, and the intrinsic value of the oversight function of the United States Congress.
It is simply amazing to me that an attorney who once nominated to the United States Supreme Court failed to appear in response to a subpoena. Don't try this at home kids: there are consequences when regular people pull this kind of stuff, and those usually involve armed law enforcement officers at the door.
