An Opening for Change in Iran?

by shamanic

I'm very curious to see what happens in coming days and weeks in Iran. It appears that the civil unrest has quieted, but the public anger over gas rationing--and so much else--is immense. Will the rationing be the straw that finally breaks the entrenched theocracy's back?

How many Iranians are asking about their government's priorities tonight as they weigh the utility of nuclear reactors vs. oil refineries? I can't help but feel hopeful today that maybe the yearnings of 70 million Iranians might finally find the strength to knock down their oppressors.
