Worth checking out today is Radio Free Europe's interview with neocon architect of the war on Iraq, Richard Perle.
Here's the short version - "we went to Iraq because we thought Saddam Hussein posed danger, not to impose democracy." Democracy can't be imposed at gunpoint. Neither negotiations nor bombings will work on Iran, regime change again because Iran poses a danger, not for democracy reasons (implicit: by invading again).
