More on the Pittsburgh Donation Scandal

The Tribune Review's Justin Velluci has been all over the story of a local GOP attorney who used his position as a trustee for a rich local widow to make a pattern of very odd political donations that seems to have been designed to benefit him instead of the beneficiary of the trust.

Today he is reporting on a new baby step in the saga. The lawyer, Charles McCullough, has resigned from his position as a trustee as the local District Attorney is aggressively looking into his actions. This aggressive look includes a freezing of the trust's assets and the serving of a warrant at the local bank that is managing the money.
