Be Proud Of Those Ivory-Towered Lib'ruls!

Almost as funny as the Goss thing is this post from National Review Online's "Phi Beta Cons", who claim to be the Right "taking on" higher education:
The Times Higher Education Supplement has released a list of the world’s top 100 Universities.

Eleven of the top 15 are American. U.S. colleges make up a predictably large percentage of the list otherwise. There’s something worth salvaging there.

“Telling fact: Harvard’s “endowment of $26 billion (£13.8 billion) exceeds total annual funding for all British universities.”
Does anyone else see the disconnect here? In their rush to be blindly patriotic about anything whatsoever, they're proud that American universities - which are full of useless damn ivory-towered elitist liberal academics, acorrding to many of their other posts - make up the bulk of the best of the best.

I guess those uselss lib'rul professors are good for something after all - "something worth salvaging there", indeed.
