You Need Hands...

"The loose screw is right here!"

Via Outside the Spectrum I find myself at a long puff-piece from Stanford Law School about Josh Bolten, Bush's new Chief of Staff. Bitter Harvest, the author of Outside The Spectrum has found a really troubling snippet inside the screeds of sycophancy penned by a WaPo journalist for Stanford Law...
“His wall collection of Bush photos, typical throughout the White House complex, is unique. The pictures focus exclusively on Bush's hands at key moments in his presidency. Not a single photo of Bush's face can be found.”
Now a single photo of Bush in every room I could understand - it would nicely parallel the pic of Queen Elizabeth in every UK government office and reinforce the King George message to his subjects. But whole walls of pics? That's serious narcissism in action.

As for a whole wall of photos of Bush's hands...the level of fetishism that displays is mind-boggling. The new Chief of Staff should immediately be issued with a nice new white blazer with extra long arms and ties up the back so that he can hug himself aaaalllllll day!

Isn't there a rule about those who govern us - elected and appointed - having to be "of sound mind"?
