Everyones poised to blog the POTUS speech tonight. There's already been some pre-speech speculation from John Kerry and several online pundits.
Plus, today was the day that the Washington Post finally went on the front page with the Downing Street Memos in a must-read article on British doubts going into the Iraq invasion that seem to have been proven true by events since.
Then again, not all of the big networks have even decided to give POTUS the air time as yet. CBS, NBC and Fox all said they would decide sometime Tuesday whether to carry the speech. Concerns centered on the potential newsworthiness of the speech and the fact that it was being given not in the Oval Office but far from Washington.
Then again, Fox would have to bump the reruns of it's big ratings winner "House" and maybe Fox viewers care more about a fictional Brit doctor with a cane than they do about what Bush has to say...
Update
I see that Comments From Left Field is running an informal sweepstake on how often Bush mentions 9/11 tonight.
My thoughts are it will be just less than the number of times he says "evil". If I have a drink for each one, by the end of the speech I should be past caring. Anyone care to take a guess at the number of each?
If you want to have a drink every time he mentions the Downing Street Memos, though, count on still being sober by the end.
