Which Party Is More Corrupt?

If you are a regular reader, you will remember my informal poll on the sex habits of those who claim the Republican and Democrat parties as their homes.

The methodology is easy, just enter the search criteria into Yahoo! or Google and hit search, repeat for the other party, see how many hits you get for each.

And so, in light of the arrest of Tennessee lawmakers for accepting bribes (three Dems and a Republican), the obvious question is "which party is more corrupt?" Here is my Yahoo! search survey on corruption:

"Republican arrested for corruption" - 431,000 results.

"Democrat arrested for corruption" - 246,000 results.

That seems pretty conclusive. Maybe it's a "media bias" though. Opinions supported by facts welcomed.

Update 6.20 PM Central

In an effort to see if changing the parameters changes the findings...

Republican payola - 145,000 results.

Democrat payola - 54,800 reults.

Republican nepotism - 66,900 results.

Democrat nepotism - 44,100 results.

Republican ethics breach - 104,000 results.

Democrat ethics breach - 62,400 results.

To summarize, 65% of all internet results for corruption lead to the Republicans. Have we finally found what they are best at?
